Dorm Life Prep Course in 5 Parts

Heading off or back to school this fall? Or just looking to move into a small space? Introducing Trendmill's first Dorm-Life Prep course in 5 Parts. Today we bring you Keeping Tidy and Organized.

Storage cubes make for perfect compartments for all the random things in your life. And if you can get them on wheels it's even better. Now you have a table for anywhere in the room. And never under estimate the need for a compact vacuum. Especially one that is a wet vac. Stains be gone!

1 itso™ Caster/Foot Storage Base $9.99
Storage Cube set/2 $25.98
2 Storage Starter Kit Plastic $49.99
3 Hoover Handheld Wet/ Dry Hand Vacuum $29.99

Corner basket drawers are fantastic b/c they use up space that cant other wise be used easily. Basket drawers in general are a tasteful way to stay picked up. And this lap top stand (which I personally have at home) is irreplaceable. It's compact, rolls easily and adjustable to all heights. A must have.

4 Espresso Wide Shelf with 3 Wire Baskets $99.99
5 Ameriwood Laptop Cart - Cherry $84.50
6 Corner 3-Drawer Unit - Natural $89.99

A microwave is a great feature for dorms b/c you wouldn't believe what help a heated burrito is during an all night cram session! And keep that tight quarters odor at bay with an air sanitizer. It'll also help keep colds away. And the broom vac is simple and stylish. Seriously! A stylish broom!

7 Chrome Microwave Cart $59.99
8 Ionic Pro Therapure Germicidal Air Sanitizer $49.99
9 Dirt Devil Broom Vac $49.99

Okay, so you don't think you'll be doing much dusting. You're even less likely to do any if you have to get out a rag and spray. That's all I'm saying. And the trash can may be a must but stressing the need for a closing trash can is very important. Imagine not finishing that burrito on study night and tossing it away? Fast forward to coming back to the dorm the next day to the smell of Mexican food every where. Lets hope you didn't bring a date back. And this laundry basket is the coolest I've seen in ages. It's got everything. It's collapsible, it's got straps for lugging it to the laundry room, it's got wheels for when the load is full of denim and wet towels and it's got a zip close pocket for quarters and detergent. It's perfection.

10 Furniture Dusting Mitts (Set of 6) $19.99
11 Stainless Steel 12.5-quart Step Open Trash Can $35.99
12 Pop-Up Hamper with Wheels $19.99

Wow. A double hanger rod. Where have you been all my life? It's twice the closet space in seconds. Shirts up top, dresses & pants on the bottom. I'm speechless. And this over the door shoe hanger is by Febreze so it keeps shoes smelling fresh in small spaces. This Shamwow! towel is supposed to be the second coming in the cleaning world. Untested by trendmill we can only report that if it does what it says then several of the 50 sodas you'll kick over this school year will be blotted up in seconds. That pays for itself. I promise.

13 Double Hang Closet Rod $14.99
14 Febreze Closet Renewables 10-Pocket Refresher $19.99
15 Shamwow! Super absorbant towels (set of 8) $19.99
