Where would the stars be without their trusty shades? Serving as a protection from the sun as well as paparazzi flashes, these multi-purpose accessories are a necessity in Hollywood.

At the moment, there are three styles of sunglasses that are very popular. The oversized, round 70's style frame made popular again by Chloe, the aviator frame and the various 80's inspired frames.

Both Hayden Panettiere and Julianne Moore are wearing the oversized, round styles, demonstrating that this style is not strictly reserved for teens. Many of the younger stars are opting for the 80's styles, yet Amanda Bynes is wearing a variation of the aviator style.

Whatever the frame, we all need a good pair of glasses to hide our eyes after a night of partying and the stars know more about that than anything.
