The showman gathered together a few dozen of the worlds top models, Karl Lagerfeld, Silvia Venturini Fendi, and company chairman and CEO Michael Burke and a crowd of about 500 on the Great Wall of China for a runway show extravaganza.

Among the who's who that donned furs and jewels to attend the event actresses Ziyi Zhang and Thandie Newton, Miss Universe Riyo Mori of Japan, gallerist Pearl Lam, artist Terence Koh, A Bathing Ape's Nigo, and a plane load of New York socialites, including Fabiola Beracasa, Zani Gugelmann, Amanda Hearst, Tinsley Mortimer, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, and Bettina Zilkha.
