Old is the new Phat

For a 50-something year old with dump-trucks full of money, who runs his own clothing label, and has a fashion designer for a wife, Russel Simmons always winds up looking like a 15yr old boy who just got his first hand-job.

The only difference between my little brother and Russel Simmons is the number of zero's on his bank statement. And my brother dresses like a 15 yr old who listens to rock and roll, not hip hop. And, my brother isn't black. I guess the only thing that they really have in common is that they are both 15 and look like they are looking for love.

Cracked out in AA

Finding authentic style is hard these days. Everyone looks the same, especially the hipsters. I remember a time when the only people who looked homeless and dirty were homeless and dirty people and artists. I guess either everyone's an artist or this whole American Apparel is the new Gap. It's so mainstream that every time I see a leotard on a girl I think about all the Jocks in their dockers locking me in my locker in the 90s for skateboarding.

I am on the fence with this outfit. On one hand its cute and, I guess, somewhat cutting edge. But on the other hand its just like "whatever", ya know?
