Finding authentic style is hard these days. Everyone looks the same, especially the
hipsters. I remember a time when the only people who looked homeless and dirty were homeless
and dirty people and artists. I guess either everyone's an artist or this whole American
Apparel is the new Gap. It's so mainstream that every time I see a leotard on a girl I think
about all the Jocks in their dockers locking me in my locker in the 90s for skateboarding.
I guess what it all comes down to is that 80 percent of the people who dress like this are
doing it for show, or because they think it's cool to fit in with this crowd and since life
is all about choices and this girl's choice was too rock a pair of Diesels that let the
world know she's in an oversized leotard, a symbol of cool in some circles, a cracked out
facial expression, pasty white skin and messy hair.
