Each year Glamour magazine celebrate the women who make a difference in the world with a gala event suited for the amazing women it honors.  This year the awards ranged from Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi to Marianne Pearl (wife of murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl), to the adorable Abigail Breslin who took home the 'All American Girl' award.

On the runway were a bevy of Hollywood who's who. Jennifer Garner was not only present but also took walked away with the 'Girl Next Door' award. Not sure what that for, really. Model and wife of David Bowie, Iman was fabulous as was the always beautiful and ridiculously stylish Claire Danes.  Also present were Brook Shields, Jennifer Connelly and a host of glamorous women cheering on their peers. Congrats to all.
