The Fall fashion train has been speeding from country to country since it's NYC kick off last month. Having settled, for the time being, in Milan which is where Alberta Ferretti wowed audiances with a jeweled toned line of drapping elegance.
Synonymous with gorgeous, ethereal evening dresses, Alberta Ferretti first made
her name in the fashion industry with a small designer boutique called Jolly
Shop, where she stocked labels like Versace and Armani.
In 1974 she
started designing her own clothes and, in 1981,her own, eponymous line made its
debut on the catwalk in Milan - and has been a favourite on the fashion week
schedule ever since.
