D&G Fall Winter 08.09 Milan

D&G, what Dolce & Gabbana passes for their 'casual line', took to the stage in Milan last week to wow the front row with a pattern explosion that's actually wearable and desirable.

School girl plaid embellished with ruffled chests and prairie layered skirts. And then just when you get comfortable with all the color and pattern combinations a psychedelic pallet of bright, even florescent, paisleys light up the stage. 

And since D&G is so closely connected to the retail market level of fashion you can expect these styles, in one form or another, to be at every store you visit come fall.

Just Cavalli Fall Winter 08.09

Roberto Cavalli took a don't-mess-with-a-good-thing approach to his Just Cavalli collection. His seventies-inflected signature show for Spring received rave reviews, so why not revisit the decade at his little-sister line for Fall? Fendi Charity Brings out the Stars

Silvia Fendi, of the great and powerful Fendi Fashion House, was a busy bee hosting some of hollywood young heavy weights at the Fendi "Ten Baguettes for Ten Years" benefit.  Each baguette was designed by local artists and raises money for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

On hand to bid in the elite auction? Lindsay Lohan, Rose McGowan and Mandy Moore. All sporting their own Fendi dresses, respectively.
