This over dressing thing has actually been a bit of a fad lately.  We saw this a lot with the whole nu-rave/rapist glasses/80's throwback thing. All those elements were great, but it got to the point that people were trying to look ugly on purpose, or something similar to that effect. How many colors, patterns and textures can you combine before enough is enough?

For Kravitz, I don’t know if it was some crazy S#%^ he was smoking in his dressing room, the marketing teams behind him or just poor choices, but looking like a homeless guy who had been to one too many Phish concerts is never a good look. Fine, he was always rock n roll, we’ll give him that, and that always has a certain amount of appeal to it but there comes a time where it’s like let it go, you know?

It took him shedding that former skin and some contemporary modernization to realize that underneath the dreadlocks, tie dye and purple suede, Lenny actually had it going on.  It was like seeing a pretty girl without make up for the first time.
