MET Art Institute Gala

 All dressed up with everywhere to go seems to be the theme this week on trendmill.  The glam was out in full effect for the annual MET Costume Benefit Gala. With tickets starting at $6500, this is one event that only admits the crème da la crème and you can’t be just anyone walking through the door, nor can you wear just anything.

Our fave for the night goes to Liv Tyler – WOW! Talk about old Hollywood glam. This is a risk for her, and though Liv is known to look good on the red carpet, risks aren’t something she is known for and she pulled it off remarkably.

More often than not we end up on the fence with Victoria Beckham. Some days she is so on and looks incredible, and others just like she is trying to heard yet not even put together. This one falls into the latter category.

Marisa Tomei played it relatively safe, but as far as we are concerned, she is Marisa Tomei and she can do what she wants.

Milla Jovovich is officially back after her baby and man does she look good. A million new moms/moms to be out there want to know her secret because she put on a lot of weight during her pregnany and looks just as good, if not better than before she had the baby. This color is wonderful on her and the texture around the neck is bold without being over bearing.

Kate Moss had us with everything except the head wrap. It ages her in a waythat is unexplainable and ends ups drawing attention away from what is actually a very lovely dress that works well for her. A chic up-do probably would have been a better move with this look and really would have tied it all together.
