Teen Choice Awards 2009

The Teen's Choice Awards were this past Sunday and naturally the guest list included a slew of actors singers, entertainers from the last year who have made an impact on those falling in the 20 years old and under catagory. Events like this are fun fashion wise because the attendees get to put a little more personality into their outfits compared to the more formal events. Don't get us wrong, we're all for the glitz and glamour of black ties affairs, but sometimes it's nice to see fashion sense that doesn't some in the form of a ball gown.

This charming little girl is actually Isabelle Fuhrman, the terrifying little girl in that new movie The Orphan (seriously, have you seen that preview? DEVIL CHILD). We love this cute little shift dress and though we wish it were just a little bit longer, the pairing of it with the flats and simple hair make it age appropriate for a 12 year old going to this type of event.

We are actually quite fonr of Nikkie Reid, who plays Rosalie Cullen in Twilight, but not at ALL of her choice in this dress. She's gorgeous and this doesn't do much to flatter her at all. LOVE the shoes however, but just don't think they work with this outfit.

Kat Von D has traded in her trademark dark locks for a much lighter blonde 'do - still undecided as to how we feel about it. Kat doesn't stray often from her tradrmark look but what matters most is this WORKS for her and she can pull it off, regardless of our own misgivings about it. 

Amanda Bynes always looks the same. Never awful, but nothing special either.

We are loving - LOVING - this hair color on Kim Kardashian and hopes she keeps it for sometime. White isn't the easiest color to wear, especially for girls who are more curvery but this cut is fantastic on her and she looks flawless. Check out those shoes.

Selena Gomez pretty much always looks amazing and it makes us hate our teenaged years more than we already.

People have been ragging all over the place at Kristen's Stewart's choice of dress for this event, but we actually kind of like it and think it works for her. Once again check out those shoes. WOW! Some people seem to forget that Kristen isn't even 20 yet, and when you take that into consideration, this outfit more than makes sense and is actually a very cool choice.

Vanessa Hudgens always looks amazing and this event was no exception. Love this color on her, though we aren't thrilled by the choice of shoes, it's ultimately forgiveable given how great she looks
