Gossip Girl

We’ve said our piece before one what we think of this whole Gossip Girl phenom and each day that goes by it annoys the hell out of us more and more. Sure, let’s create a show where all the characters are pretty much filthy rich, spoiled, manipulative little shitheads who do nothing but spend money and be horrible to those around them as a thing for teenagers, specifically young girls, to become over obsessed with.

We are, admittedly, gossip hounds, specifically blind items. There was a blind not to long ago, which was unmistakably about the cast of Gossip Girls and how their on screen antics in terms of behavior are nothing compared to how they behave in a real life.  Rumor had it that some of them were/are headed down quite a dangerous path, Taylor Momsen being one of them.

That being said, we aren’t here to gossip, we’re here to talk fashion and we love Taylor Momsen to death. She’s only 16 but already has a look that is extremely identifiable and uniquely her own, something difficult to do even for most people leading a regular life, let alone in Hollywood where they expect everyone to be a cookie cut out of someone before them (Megan Fox is the new Angelina Jolie, etc, etc.) We are also LOVING her new longer hair compare to the shoulder length scraggles she was rocking not too long ago.

Whatever is happening in her personal life, we hope she manages to keep a hold of her acting career and band, and of course, her personal style. She’s got all the potential in the world, let’s just hope she utilizes it.
