Watching Christina Aguilera evolve over the years has been crazy to say the least. We’d be lying if we say we always were in complete and utter agreement with every look she chose head to toe over the years, but she has definitely produced more hits than misses and looks unmistakably polished and put together at all times, and really if you think about it, that is no small feat. One also has to remember that Christina had to earn her right of passage, so to speak, going from being a completely manufactured, bubble gum pop star to finally coming into her own as an adult, complete of course with her own agenda in regards to her personal style.
The oddest thing for us about watching someone like her grow up in the spotlight is that, despite our closeness in age, it’s always like watching someone younger than you, and we don’t know why that is exactly. Despite going through our own fashion choices, however amazing and revolting over the years, we seemed to ignore the fact that she was growing up to, and just like us, trying to not only figure out who she was at the time, but more importantly where she headed. ( I guess considering we are sitting on our couch in our apartment as we write this with no air conditioning or food in our fridge, she’s won this round of who’s-going-to-be-a-success-after-their-teenaged-years).
Regardless, we love where she is at now, especially since the birth of her son Max. Though you still won’t see her out with make-up, she seems to have found a new relaxed look that both fits her lifestyle, but keeps her in tune with the trends, and looking hot. And no matter what, she is still always rocking a pair of amazing heels.
