There seems to be a celebrity fashion trend as of lately where the video and/or stage ensembles have now extended into the everyday, going out to run errands code of dress on the regular. It’s like the idea has somehow been implemented that there is not even a minor differential between what is costume and what is everyday wear for some pop stars out there *cough* Lady Gaga *cough*. To be fair it had seemed to work as a pretty strong promotional device of artists (Gaga and otherwise) who have came to some sort of conclusion that stage wear = day to day wear, so off they go in next to nothing, only after bathing in more glitter than a stripper trying to make rent of course.
We are big fans of these video costumes The Sugarbabes are wearing most definitely – and we’ll say that again, these *video costumes* The Sugarbabes are wearing, and that is exactly what they are. They are costumes, and unless you are a six year old accompanying your mother to the super market, costumes rarely serve as suitable day to day attire and should generally be reserved for their assigned purpose or possibly the occasional night out in the club, if said events theme justifies such a choice in wardrobe. That being said, ladies do us a small favor: Even if you are privileged enough to be blessed with a 10 out of 10 body, try to at least wear a pair of pants when you head out the door.
Also, a bikini top is NOT a shirt. Cool?
