Material Girl

We’ve been at war with our inner feelings when it comes to Madonna lately, and it’s been that way for awhile. Don’t get us wrong, she will always have a special place in our heart when it comes to music and, in some ways more importantly, as one of the most memorable and inspirational pop culture figures of our youth.  Whether she was dressing herself or had a stylist working with her, her fashion choices and looks, specifically in the late 80’s and early 90’s were adopted so many young girls it hurts to think about it.

While we haven’t always agrees with her fashion choices late, we are very pleased with what she is wearing here. She looks classy and elegant and most of all, age appropriate, the latter being something that she tends to throw to the wind now and again. We know, we know, she still looks amazing ad if you got it flaunt it, but there comes a time, especially like say when you have reached past the half century mark perhaps, that covering up just a tad may be a wise choice. This is good. This we like.
