The Whitney Gala 2009

 The Whitney Museum in New York City held it’s annual gala last night, and when we sat down to look at the shots, the  range in the crowd celeb wise was interesting to say the least. Some of them being native New Yorkers, some of them not, but, we suppose, having ties to the Big Apple in one way or another at any given time.  On the whole we weren’t so impressed with some of the overall choices. There seems to be some sort of underlying theme, at least in these photos, of cotton candy pink, but whether this was some sort of color theme related to the evening, we really can’t be sure 100%.  When we think museum or gala, specifically when it’s an evening event, our heads seem to conjure images of clean lines and dark silhouettes.
