Maybe it’s because we’ve never been a sports fan and therefore can’t relate to the infatuation that goes along with ones alliance to any particular team, but we seriously do not understand the whole memorabilia for every day clothing thing. In all honesty, we don’t even understand the procedure or protocol for selecting one’s chosen team to become obsessed with when it doesn’t relate to home town pride (ex: why does an LA resident root for NY?) but that’s likely a deep rooted, borderline psychological discussion for another time on a site that isn’t fashion related. Still it doesn’t change the fact that sports related attire is more often than not gaudiest looking form of apparel there is. Now we can admit that to a certain extent we are bias: we prefer clothing with little to no logos/branding/identifiable imagery, but that still does not explain the appeal to the flagrancy and brazenness of clothing that is team and sports branded. There is nothing we can think of in the world that we love to such an extent that we want it broadcasted via our body as obvious as possible in colorways that have no explanation other than they must have been selected by designers who were colorblind.

**this is actually a friend of ours and thank god he doesn’t use the internet and will never see this ever**
