We didn’t even realize quite how long it had been since we saw Eve out and about and we are of course happy to say that we think that she looks fantastic. Out of all the 90’s rap ladies that came to light (with the exception of RAH DIGGA) Eve was most probably out favorite. Lil Kim and Foxy Brown may have been more ‘hood and always getting put in jail etc, which no doubt helped support their rough and rugged image, but Eve seemed to exude a bit more overall star power and had a bit more of a demure quality to her. While other female rappers were as raunchy in their style of dress as they were in their lyrics, Eve always seemed to fly just a level above them while still maintaining her street credibility. You always have to remember that this is the lady who collaborated with Gwen Stefani for what was her first solo departure from No Doubt on Let Me Blow Ya’ Mind and that video, at the time, was a major step in terms of female artists as well as aesthetically thanks to some amazing work by the stylists.
