We’re on the fence lately when it comes Lady ‘Walking Art Installation’ Gaga and today is no exception. We love the over idea of this look, with the exception of the completely over exaggerated shoulders. Partially exaggerated we could have dealt with, it’s even the style as of lately, but as usual it’s all about being over the top with her. If anything, our distaste for it simply comes from the fact that without the exaggeration, this actually is a stunning outfit and extremely flattering on her while still fiiting into her own crazy style. As we’ve said before, we ‘get’ the whole theatrical aspect of her as a performing as well as her projecting herself as some kind of ‘artist’. But we’ve come across some video of her recently, before she was famous, before the crazy clothes and before the idiot statements to the press and she really is quite talented. We wish she would swap the crazy get up (and a bit of the attitude) for something classic, chic, and demure. Just her, a long dress and a piano. You can’t argue the artistic value from something like that.
