We’ve never been fans of the ‘let’s-pile-as-many-things-on-as-possible’ mostly because it’s one of those things that CAN be done right, though seldom is. The best outfits are ones that have a strong focal point, than other added items to compliment it. Starting at the top, we have the hat, which we will admit we love. But as you go down, it’s the over sized earring, into racing jacket into leather/pleather pants and motor cycle boots, not only with embellishments but some dirt for good measure. The only jacket that is ever awesome with patches all over is a worn out, beat up one that you Dad used to hitchhike across the country when he was 16 and you find years later in the back of his closet. Racing style jackets belong one place: A race track. Our solution? Pick one item to be the ‘jazz hands’ of your outfit, and build around that to highlight it, not distract from it.
