If there is one thing piece of clothing you can't go wrong with then it is definitely the classic black and white dress. Even though color was definitely the big trend on the red carpet, we saw some stars keeping it safe in neutral colors.
Sandra Oh definitely is the most safe here with a very boring black dress with a tiny piece of white tulle at the bust line. I guess after last years debacle of a dress she just wanted to lay low. Katherine's dress is plain but she looks fantastic in it. The old Hollywood hair and makeup really do add a style to this dress.
Mariska is just boring, and I think I have seen Debra wearing this exact same dress to about three past Emmy shows. Oh well at least the other stars didn't disappoint.
