Veronique Leroy for Leonard S/S 08
Added: over 2 years ago
Veronique Leroy, the current Creative Director for Leonard, presented her bright and colourful collection for Leonard in Paris this week. The strappy sundresses and wispy floral-print frocks in silk chiffon, with fluttering ties, sometimes threaded with lurex. A real Japanese influence is apparent in each piece.
Daniel Tribouillard, Leonard's founder, noted the influence at a press junket for the show. "My Japanese friends tell me I must have been born Japanese in another life. I regularly visit Japan and China and I have my suppliers who send me books, kimonos -- thanks to that I am always renewing my collection."
