You have probably heard of Perez Hilton. He is a very successful celebrity blogger and he seems to be popping up everywhere you look. He has been featured in numerous magazines, he has offered his expert commentary on numerous television shows and he has been on the red carpet of many Hollywood events.

We were lucky enough to get some time with the Perez to talk a little about trends and celebrity so enjoy the interview...

You spend a lot of time away from the computer at star studded events, what goes through your mind when it comes to what to wear ?

The main thing is what do I have to wear in my closet that I haven't already worn. That's what goes through my mind.

I have seen you with some pretty wild suits do you go out and get those specifically made for the event?

Sometimes people send me things, sometimes I go out looking for things. It depends on the situation and it depends on the event. I am getting something custom made for my next big outfit for the next big event I have. It is for New Years Eve and I am doing something big and I want to look extra sharp.

Can you give us a preview of what you're going to be wearing?

It will be gold.

That sounds pretty fancy, I guess you want to resemble the New Years Ball....

Yeah.

How important do you think celebs are in starting trends, because every girl I see is rockin' slim fit jeans, any thoughts?

Yeah, obviously celebrities have an impact because they have replaced models on the cover of fashion magazines.

What do you predict the next trend to come out of hollywood will be. We've had the trucker hat, the Uggs, what's next?

I don't know how to describe them, but Bolero hats seem to be in right now. I've seen Sienna Miller, Kate Moss and Kirsten Dunst wearing them and I don't know if that's what you call them, but I think they're called Bolero hats.

Who do you think the will be the next celebrity to take the spotlight away from Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, or are we stuck with them for a while?

There are always up and coming people, that's just the nature of the industry. If I had to pick one of those people that would burn out first or who won't stick around I'd have to say Lindsay Lohan. Just because Paris has been around longer and has been a bigger star for a longer time and also because Lindsay's been in bomb after bomb after bomb. She hasn't had a movie since Mean Girls.

What is your favorite item in your wardrobe right now?

I am always obsessed with whatever I got last. I got a hat and a matching t-shirt that I should have worn a week ago. They both say "Bring Britney Back" and they both have a very cool illustration of Britney making out with Madonna at the VMAs.

Do you try to cause controversy when you go out to drive more traffic to your site using specificwhat you are wearing when you go out ?

I'll wear "message shirts" every once in a while. I'll wear stuff to get noticed.

How are you dealing with your instant stardom?

I just did the website for fun and everything else just happend. It's much more than I ever expected and there is much more that I want to get to.

What can we expect from you in the future?

I am working on my reality TV show. There's no official release date at the moment.
