Growing up in New York’s tony Soho district it could be argued that young Zac was predisposed for dress making. That and the fact that exquisite designs seem to flow out of him year after year.
By 2004 Posen was dressing every one from Claire Dane to Gwenyth Paltrow and was catching the attention of millions after his first official NYC runway show. Since then it's been one accolade after the other and each and every one is warranted.
Posen’s 2008 Spring show is one of the most elaborate shown this year. Not because of wildly exciting gowns (although there are a few) but due to the wide range of frocks presented. Casual shorts walk just moments before long ruffled red carpet wear. Colour contrasted by flesh tones and pleats along side fringe. There is truly something for every one.
