Plaid wide leg pants

This outfit doesn't work for me at all. I know pajama pants, and really pajamas in general are making a huge surge as outerwear. You know, not for the lazy man buying ice cream at the store at 10 pm.....but this proves that it can go wrong and not look chic and fashionable. Maybe because she's braking the plaid and stripes pattern rules....or maybe because the shirt just looks terrible with those pants....or maybe it is the jacket....Point being so much is wrong, I can't pinpoint whether it is each piece of all the pieces...I just know it is bad.
